The Timberline Lodge, on Mount Hood in Oregon. This hotel was used for the exterior shots of the Overlook Hotel in Kubrick's The Shining. In Yosemite we visited the Ahwanee Hotel, which was used as the basis for the design of the interior of the Overlook.
